Your Role:

  • Take charge of essential financial statement components for our consolidated operations.
  • Assist in the month-end closing procedures, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards (ASPE), tax laws, and other financial reporting obligations.
  • Support the year-end audit process with accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Handle and submit government filings, including tax returns and regulatory reports.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of financial reporting processes, policies, and internal controls, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Engage in exciting projects, such as supporting the launch of new products and process enhancements.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably with a CPA designation or in progress.
  • Familiarity with Netsuite or a comparable large ERP system.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to thoroughly review your own work.
  • A natural curiosity to investigate discrepancies and understand underlying issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams.
  • Experience in corporate indirect tax is considered an asset.
