**About the role**

We are currently seeking a Specialist -Accounting Hub within the Corporate Finance team who will play a critical role in supporting our growth. If you are looking for a stimulating career, in a dynamic and constantly changing work environment, this position is for you.

**WORKPLACE**: Flexible (Montreal, Toronto, St-Hyacinthe)

**What you’ll do here**:
The incumbent will actively participate in the process of recording and providing quality, reliable and timely financial information. In addition, the incumbent will:

- Assist in the production of financial and operational data by working closely with various departments and regions.
- Assist in the validation financial data, as well as various reconciliations and controls.
- Support our business units in the management of their operational expenses.
- Participate in the financial systems and accounting processes improvement initiatives.
- Take a critical look at the controls in place and the various accounting treatments related to our operations.
- Make recommendations and suggestions to management based on your expertise.
- Simplify, standardize, secure and increase controls of different work files.
- Help facilitate the audit processes of general accruals and reconciliations and liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Contribute to maintaining a robust internal control environment. Maintain 52 109 documentation and ensure the accuracy of audit evidence for test purposes.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, IFRS accounting standards and finance.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA) is an asset.
- Fast learning, agility and adaptability to change.
- Discipline, autonomy and professionalism.
- Ability to interact with various people at all levels of the organization, including management and some external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion and Essbase is an asset.
