Architect of AWS Solutions

As a Solutions Architect (SA), your role will involve collaborating with clients, AWS Sales, and various AWS teams to design highly scalable, adaptable, and robust cloud architectures that resolve customer business challenges and facilitate the adoption of AWS services. In partnership with the sales team, you will contribute to revenue growth across a diverse range of clients. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will guide organizations in understanding best practices related to advanced cloud-based solutions. You will actively seek opportunities to develop and implement strategies that enhance the use of the AWS platform throughout the customer's organization. A strategic mindset towards business, products, and technical challenges is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish strong relationships with clients to become a trusted advisor for their critical workloads, supporting their digital transformation and cloud journey.
- Assist in achieving revenue targets through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services to the AWS platform, in collaboration with the sales team.
- Educate clients on the value of AWS, engaging in detailed architectural discussions to ensure solutions are optimally designed for cloud deployment.
- Contribute to internal and customer-facing publications, such as white papers and blogs, to scale your knowledge.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, service engineering teams, and support to address client needs effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the region and up to 25% outside the region for client meetings.
- AWS training during the onboarding process may require travel for up to 5 consecutive days.

8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking
- Familiarity with SAP systems (e.g., SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects) and their architectural and infrastructure requirements
- Experience engaging with end-user or developer communities
