Plastic Products Manufacturing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee the production of plastic products at Insight Plastics Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 production workers, coordinating work activities, and ensuring the efficient operation of processing machines.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Production Activities
- Oversee the daily operations of the production team, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate work activities with other departments to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Lead and Develop the Production Team
- Train and develop production workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Recommend personnel actions, such as hiring and promotions, to ensure the team is well-equipped to meet production demands.
- Manage Production Resources
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal production levels.
- Set up and maintain processing machines and equipment to ensure efficient production.
- Monitor and Improve Productivity
- Monitor production metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend measures to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production role.
- Work Environment
- Noisy work environment.
- Physical Demands
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
