Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the project management of an assigned portfolio of projects primarily related to the Performing Arts program delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, scopes, and schedules for assigned programs and events.
  • Manage day-to-day project management activities, ensuring alignment with Banff Centre's values and strategic objectives.
  • Communicate and report on program milestones, key deliverables, updates, and risk mitigation to stakeholders.
  • Align resource requests, planning, and allocation for programs within approved plans and budgets.
  • Coordinate and/or participate in regular program and events planning review and evaluation.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven program management experience, preferably within a creative environment.
  • University degree in an arts discipline or related area of study.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Strong arts background in Performing Arts (theatre, dance, and/or opera).
  • Experience building and managing programming budgets.
  • Proven analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of program and events, marketing, promotion, and production.
