Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Climate Product to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. This role will be responsible for further developing our climate initiatives, identifying business opportunities, and building digital solutions to help our clients manage their climate risks and transition to a low-carbon economy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our Personal Banking teams to support, develop, and execute initiatives that fulfill the commitments of our RBC Climate Blueprint.
  • Identify opportunities and build new digital products that support Canadians in their transition to net zero.
  • Maintain our Electric Car Cost Calculator product on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Define and prioritize the scope of development for new product features and ongoing enhancements to existing products, including management of all backlog and agile project management activities.
  • Test product features and bug fixes to ensure the product is polished, resilient, and user-friendly.
  • Work closely with designers, data scientists, and others to execute product roadmaps into features and product delivery.
  • Support go-to-market strategies related to various Personal Banking climate initiatives, in collaboration with lines of business, to support Climate and LOB teams' OKRs.
  • Communicate with clarity across the organization to get stakeholder buy-in and to help them understand the product roadmap and progress to date.
Requirements
  • A passion for sustainability and building solutions to help fight climate change.
  • Experience translating business requirements into actionable solutions, with a history of creating user-centric customer experiences.
  • Experience planning product releases and setting expectations for delivery of new functionality, bug fixes, or product improvements.
  • Experience working closely with designers, engineers, data scientists, analysts, and others to deliver products that deliver value to both users and the business.
  • Strong attention to detail and previous QA experience, either defining or testing acceptance criteria based on product requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
