Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of a climate change consulting business at Stonewood Group Inc. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental management and climate change policy, as well as experience in developing and executing business strategies.

Scope of Position:
This role is responsible for building a business practice around climate change, including developing a business plan, identifying revenue-generating opportunities, and implementing strategies to position Stonewood Group Inc. as a leading service provider in climate change consulting. The role will interact with clients at a senior level, advising them on climate change and resiliency, and will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company's overall strategy.

Functional Tasks:
  • Develop and implement a business plan to build a revenue-generating consulting business around climate change.
  • Interact with clients at a senior level to advise on climate change and resiliency.
  • Monitor and review activities of environmental groups, think-tanks, and other influential external stakeholders.
  • Communicate developments and provide research and analysis to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the execution and delivery of climate change strategies.
  • Educate employees and management on climate change-related topics.
  • Assist in the preparation of supporting materials, including communication materials, training documents, and technical reports.
