Key Responsibilities

The Cloud Operations & Automation (COA) team is essential in advancing cloud transformation initiatives within the organization. Key responsibilities include overseeing public cloud environments on Azure and GCP, as well as managing the complete developer toolchain, which encompasses Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Jira, GitHub, and more. The goal is to consistently improve platforms by refreshing services and partnering with solution providers to deliver value through cloud enablement and automation.

As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will actively engage in the COA team, applying your cloud and DevOps knowledge to oversee systems, automate infrastructure, and convert the platform services roadmap into pipelines and code. Collaboration with architects, security engineers, operations support, and project leads is vital for constructing high-quality enterprise solutions.

  • Produce exceptional work within an agile team framework.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Provision cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP.
  • Automate both Linux and Windows systems.
  • Utilize automation for compliance purposes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Assist in the development of cloud-native applications.
  • Contribute to cloud strategies and architectures.
  • Guide others in cloud and DevOps tools.
  • Effectively communicate on timelines and progress.
  • Engage in after-hours on-call rotation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of technical experience.
  • Proficiency in Azure and GCP.
  • Experience with Terraform and Linux server management.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with build automation tools.
  • Application of security best practices.
  • Knowledge of container technologies.
  • Experience in secure or regulated environments.
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficient in collaboration tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Capacity to adapt to change and uncertainty.
  • Proactive mindset for improvements.
