FortisBC Technical Analyst Position Overview

As a leading energy provider in British Columbia, FortisBC is seeking a skilled Technical Analyst to contribute to the transformation of the province's energy landscape with innovative renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to end-users, ensuring seamless system performance and resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Deploy device images and software, maintaining the company's computer systems and ensuring they are up-to-date and secure.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to complete upgrades and installations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Requirements:

  • A 2-year Diploma in Computer or Electronics Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of current operating systems.
  • A valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver's license, for occasional business travel.
