Position Overview

Role: HVAC/Refrigeration Technician at Ainsworth

Job Summary:

As a prominent player in the building systems sector, Ainsworth provides a variety of services, including Electrical, Building Automation, Card Access/Security, and Mechanical Services. We are currently seeking a Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit professionalism and a customer-centric approach while representing the company
  • Interpret and manage technical drawings and specifications
  • Install and maintain air conditioning, heating, and associated systems
  • Identify and resolve issues with HVAC equipment and systems
  • Oversee and mentor assigned apprentices
  • Stay updated on contemporary equipment and regulatory standards
  • Service the designated operational area
  • Participate in an On Call rotation
  • Comply with company policies and safety protocols
  • Conduct all job functions safely and responsibly

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson status with Gas B, GAS A Ticket preferred
  • FSR certification preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and Certificate of Qualification
  • Proficient in tools, equipment, and industry practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
