Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at East Side Mario's. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure that they are meeting our high standards of quality and customer service.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient systems and procedures to manage food preparation, inventory, and supply chain.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other operational expenses.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and other operational metrics.
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, customer feedback, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced kitchen environment with a high volume of customers.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking required.
