Max snow and mow Ltd is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our outdoor spaces. Your duties will include weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, removing litter and garbage, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment. You will also be responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment, applying fertilizers, and laying sod or seed. If you have experience in grounds maintenance and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply. We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week and English as the primary language of communication.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain the appearance and health of outdoor spaces through weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants
* Cut grass and other vegetation to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
* Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and other debris
* Remove litter and garbage from outdoor spaces
* Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers
* Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order
* Apply fertilizers and other chemicals to maintain the health of plants and trees
* Lay sod or seed to repair damaged areas of grass

Requirements:

* No degree, certificate, or diploma required
* Experience in grounds maintenance an asset
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical ability to perform manual labor
* English as the primary language of communication
