Your Role: Regional Lineup Editor

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Lineup Editor for CBC Montreal's weekday radio news broadcasts. This is a full-time permanent position where you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate, engaging, and timely news content to our audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute compelling news segments for daily radio broadcasts.
  • Collaborate with reporters, producers, and other team members to ensure seamless content flow.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current events and local news trends.
  • Adhere to journalistic standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the news team by fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in broadcast journalism, with a focus on radio news production.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • A passion for delivering accurate and impactful news content.
