The Opportunity: Front Desk Information Clerk

We are seeking two talented individuals to join our Athletics & Recreation team as Front Desk Information Clerks. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and support to both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Provide comprehensive information about the services and facilities offered by Athletics & Recreation.
  • Manage access control for the facilities, upholding departmental policies and procedures.
  • Oversee daily operations at the front desk, including assigning tasks to part-time staff and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Athletics & Recreation team to deliver efficient and timely service.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Community College coursework in a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum one year of proven customer service experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a diverse environment.
  • Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Point-of-Sale (POS) experience is an asset.
