We're currently seeking a full-time Intermediate Staff Accountant - US Taxation to join our team in Burlington. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our US Tax group and work on a variety of projects, including U.S. Personal and Corporate Tax returns. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for tax accounting, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the growth of our US Tax group and client management initiatives
  • Provide technical project management support on U.S. Personal and Corporate Tax projects
  • Research and interpret tax legislation, formulate solutions, and provide suggestions
  • Act as a coach to junior US tax staff, providing support and development opportunities
  • Prepare all types of US tax returns
  • Assist other offices of the firm as required

Requirements:

  • A willingness to learn the US tax system and tax return preparation
  • Prior experience in public accounting is considered an asset
