Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts and Taxation Manager to join our team at Evertz Microsystems Limited. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's tax compliance and financial reporting requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review the company's Canadian corporate tax returns, including SR&ED filings.
  • Assist in the preparation of US corporate tax returns and ensure timely remittances of sales taxes and corporate taxes.
  • Maintain access and compliance with financial portals and systems for Canadian and US tax filings and regulatory submissions.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all tax compliance audits.
  • Assist the accounting team in preparing financial statement tax provisions and disclosures.
  • Research new tax trends and regulations.
  • Liaise with external accounting firms and work closely with the executive team.
  • Perform other related duties, including special projects, as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Designated accountant, preferably a qualified CPA.
  • Strong knowledge of CRA regulations and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects with multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
