Senior Vice President, Internal Audit

Citi is seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President, Internal Audit to lead the timely delivery of complex, high-quality assurance and audit reports for a portfolio of business activities. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer regulatory requirements, legal, and business operations, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a robust audit plan for assigned businesses, ensuring compliance with Internal Audit standards, government statutes, and Citigroup policies.
- Deliver high-quality audit reports, issue validation, and business monitoring quarterly summaries, meeting strict timetables and stakeholder expectations.
- Manage a team of Internal Audit professionals, recruiting staff, leading professional development, and building effective teams.
- Apply comprehensive expertise in consumer regulatory compliance, technology application control disciplines, and business operations, leveraging this knowledge into a leadership role.
- Proactively advance integrated auditing concepts and technology adoption, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and adapting them for application within the business.
- 10+ years of experience in a related role, with senior-level experience in business, functional, and people management.
- BA/BS or equivalent, with related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA, or similar) a plus.
- Specific subject matter expertise in consumer regulatory compliance, technology application control disciplines, and business operations, particularly in consumer banking products and services.
- Effective negotiation skills, a proactive approach in communicating issues, and strength in sustaining independent views.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal and external audit and management.
