The primary aim is to leverage extensive subject matter expertise to aid in the formulation of innovative techniques and processes for the department, thereby supporting Citigroup in achieving its business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct moderately complex audits, which include drafting audit reports, presenting findings to the business, and discussing actionable solutions.
- Ensure completion of assigned audits within established timeframes and budgetary constraints.
- Monitor, evaluate, and propose solutions to emerging risks.
- Contribute to the enhancement of audit processes, including the creation of automated routines.
- Implement internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely audit assurance and influence the scope of audits.
- Foster effective relationships with line management to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the business.
- Operate with a limited degree of direct supervision.
- Exhibit independence of judgment and autonomy in decision-making.
- Appropriately evaluate risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
- 5-8 years of pertinent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.
- Expertise in the application of audit technology.
- Proficient project management skills.
- Effective influencing and relationship management capabilities.
- Proven ability to maintain impartiality in a diverse working environment.
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
