Northern Leadership Development Program Instructor

**About the Role:**
- Develop and deliver educational programs for adults, ensuring high-quality instruction and effective evaluation.
- Design and teach courses related to the Northern Leadership Development Program, assessing program effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the advisory committee and contract staff to ensure program quality and implement improvements.
- Establish and maintain a learning environment that fosters student success and supports high-quality education.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver instruction in various formats, including semester, block, distance delivery, and evening courses, to meet the needs of adult learners.
- Teach courses or modules in community locations or other campuses as required by the program design, promoting flexibility and accessibility.
- Work with colleagues to develop and implement educational programming that addresses the needs of adult learners, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
**Requirements:**
- Master's degree in education, organizational development, human resources, or a related field, demonstrating expertise in adult education.
- Certification in leadership coaching or training, showcasing commitment to professional development.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success.
- 2 years of experience working with Aboriginal governments or Northern community governance structures, highlighting cultural competence.
**Professional Development:**
- Complete six weeks of full-time coursework in adult education within the first two years of employment, ensuring ongoing professional growth.
- Obtain a certificate in Adult Education within five years of hire, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
