Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

Bumblebee Window & Exterior Cleaning Ltd. is seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our company, ensuring that our sites and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and train cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect sites and facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for cleaning operations, ensuring that costs are managed effectively.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including receipts and invoices.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments, ensuring that cleaning operations are integrated with other business functions.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that cleaning staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring that cleaning operations are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet cleaning needs.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job, requiring the ability to work in various locations and environments.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35 hours per week.
