About the Role

Position: Full-time / Employee

Location: Remote-first

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Channel Sales Manager, North America and fellow team members.
  • Conduct market analysis of the travel agency and telecom retail sectors in major North American cities, developing a distribution strategy for optimal market penetration.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and ongoing support of new partners within the Airalo partner network.
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with store managers and owners to promote mutual growth.
  • Enhance visibility and brand recognition for Airalo at points of sale through effective merchandising and staff training.
  • Design and implement a program to educate retailers and travel agents about eSIM technology.
  • Perform competitive analysis and outline the Airalo retail distribution strategy to maintain our status as the preferred provider among partners.
  • Engage with various internal and external stakeholders to successfully develop and execute projects and opportunities.
  • Take ownership of and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives and key results (OKRs) for your channel.
  • As a vital member of the North America team, continuously seek ways to strengthen Airalo's market presence in the region.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail channel sales or business development within the travel or telecommunications sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape, particularly in travel and/or telecom in North America.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the channel.
  • Capability to effectively communicate Airalo's unique value proposition and the solutions we offer to our users.
  • Proficient in employing various sales techniques, including consultative selling and objection handling.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with sales and partnership management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish and/or French is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the travel or telecommunications industries.
  • Previous experience in the travel or telecom sectors.
  • Knowledge of eSIM technology and GSMA-related services.
  • Relevant certifications or courses in sales and partnerships.
