Job Title: Airfield Engineering Asset Project Engineer

Located in the beautiful community of West Vancouver, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Engineering Utilities Planning, Design, and Project Delivery Department.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented engineer with extensive knowledge and experience in water, sanitary, and stormwater systems to contribute to the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the planning, design, construction, and management of municipal infrastructure/services;
  • Participate in the development of long-range utility plans and aid in the development of programs and plans related to ongoing Asset Management activities;
  • Undertake engineering utilities reviews for subdivision and major development permit applications;
  • Produce legislatively required submissions to senior governments;
  • Resolve problems and complaints related to engineering matters and provide information and assistance to the public.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a Degree in Civil Engineering and several years' experience related to municipal engineering focusing on the provision of utilities (water, sanitary, and stormwater systems). Membership or eligibility for immediate membership as a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and a BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle are also required.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $111,200 - $132,100 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package.
