POSITION OVERVIEW
The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of inventory levels through systematic processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is integral to maintaining operational efficiency and supporting our commitment to quality.
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday, 11am - 7pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain both physical and systematic inventory accuracy by monitoring and validating inventory movements.
- Investigate and address inventory discrepancies, continuously refining processes to enhance quality and precision.
- Ensure the proper setup and maintenance of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including item master and location management.
- Schedule and conduct planned cycle counts and physical counts in line with internal policies.
- Analyze inventory variances, adjust records as necessary, and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage control of damaged products and customer claims, ensuring accurate processing of inventory changes.
- Provide management with insights on operational accuracy based on audit results and inventory counts.
- Communicate effectively with management and clients regarding inventory issues and resolutions.
- Suggest improvements related to inventory processes and operations.
- Collaborate with the operations team to optimize inventory flow and placement.
- Report on inventory control activities and performance metrics as defined by management.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive inventory control procedures.
- Assist in training team members on standard operating procedures.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Inventory Control utilizing a Warehouse Management System is essential.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
- Customer-focused with a strong commitment to quality service.
- Solid mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage time effectively.
- Physical capability to lift weights between 30lbs and 50lbs.
- Flexibility in daily work assignments and tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.

EDUCATION
