We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Nursing & Homemakers Inc. as a key member of our dental care services.
Key Responsibilities- Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with dentists to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring optimal oral health outcomes.
- Supervision and Guidance: Provide guidance and oversight to dental assistants in their health care functions, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Diagnostic and Treatment Services: Take dental impressions, apply fluoride treatment, and remove stains and deposits from teeth, among other essential services.
- Patient Education and Support: Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, empowering them to maintain good oral health.
- Administrative and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education and Certification: Hold a valid Dental Hygienists Licensure from the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
- Work Environment and Conditions: Work in a fast-paced dental practice environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physical and Mental Demands: Possess excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Personal Qualities and Skills: Demonstrate accurate, client-focused, and efficient interpersonal skills, with excellent oral communication and teamwork abilities.
- Work Schedule: Work 35 to 37 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
