About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Bento Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring they meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and nutritional value.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
