About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Account Executive to join our Mining team at Aon. As an Associate Account Executive, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining business relationships with clients in the Mining industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop knowledge of client operations and risk exposures
  • Process client requests and review documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions, renewals or cancellations within service level standards
  • Assist in managing the renewal process, including preparing renewal documents, presenting to clients for approval, obtaining binding orders, and reviewing policy documentation and delivering to clients in a timely manner
  • Escalate complex or difficult customer inquiries to the appropriate team leader
  • Develop and maintain business contacts with prospects and clients
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet the needs of clients regarding insurance and risk management
  • Collaborate and liaise with colleagues in Aon's international network
  • Collaborate in negotiations with insurers and maintain good relationships with them
  • Support the management of a global insurance portfolio
  • Support the timely renewal process of coverages
  • Review applications and renewal information for completeness and accuracy
  • Ensure the accuracy of insurance contracts
  • Support the Account Manager in keeping clients informed of new products, new coverages, and market trends
  • Respond to client needs and develop a relationship with the client to solidify the relationship with Aon
Requirements
  • General Insurance Level II license, or working towards
  • Min. 5 years of relevant insurance experience
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
  • General knowledge of all areas of general insurance coverage
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced, high-performing team
  • Proficiency in MS Office software
  • Committed team player
