Position Overview

STEWANDY CLEANERS INC. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in various environments. This is a permanent position offering 35 to 40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a pristine appearance.
  • Dusting: Regularly dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a clean environment.
  • Upholstery Maintenance: Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Sanitation: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Operating Room Hygiene: Disinfect operating rooms and other critical areas.
  • Lost and Found Management: Handle and report lost and found items appropriately.
  • Debris Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
  • Customer Interaction: Address customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Certification: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing tight deadlines. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including:

  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Walking and handling heavy loads (between 45 and 60 kg).
