Job Summary:

The Sales Associate will play a key role in supporting the Store Leadership Team to achieve company goals and initiatives. This role requires excellent customer service skills, effective communication, and a strong understanding of our merchandise and promotions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and acknowledging customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Effectively communicate the value and quality of our merchandise, including current promotions and solutions for out-of-stock items.
  • Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns and demonstrating the appropriate level of selling skills to positively impact conversion.
  • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap, educating customers on the benefits of the PLACE Card.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, ensure all sizes and styles are represented, and follow company standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
  • Support and maintain a neat, clean, and organized stockroom, adhering to a customer-ready environment and safety requirements.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standards and guarantee company assets by adhering to all Loss Prevention procedures.
  • Inform Store Leadership Team of maintenance and facility needs promptly to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.
  • Contribute focused, well-managed efforts towards achievement of store goals and exhibit flexibility by processing stock when necessary.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Excellent customer engagement and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overnights, evenings, and call-in shifts.
  • Ability to maneuver on the sales floor and stockroom, climb ladders, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
