About the Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team in a hospital setting. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide direct pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients, including patient counseling, medication monitoring, and student mentoring. You will also participate in clinical pharmacy research and contribute to the development of medication use policies and procedures.

About You

We are looking for a Pharmacist with a strong background in hospital pharmacy practice, including experience in patient care, medication therapy management, and clinical research. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A hospital pharmacy residency program and/or equivalent experience is preferred.

Hours

This is a full-time position with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is $43.67 - $53.24 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate may also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
