Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality service.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment

The supervisor will be based in a fast-paced food service setting, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to optimize staff productivity.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff.
  • Provide training to staff on their roles, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Compile and submit operational reports as required.
  • Prepare summaries of food orders for the chef.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role involves supervising a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.
