Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organization, and customer service skills to ensure a high-quality dining experience.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in food service is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Prepare budget plans and cost estimates for operations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Compile and submit operational reports as required.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the kitchen staff.
  • Oversee the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervision

This position involves supervising a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.
