About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Right-A-Way Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan accordingly to ensure timely completion.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate airless spray equipment and roller painting tools to achieve professional-grade finishes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
