Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the Type of Glass and Materials Required

Assess the project requirements to determine the type of glass, frames, and materials needed for the installation.

Position and Secure Panes in Frame

Install glass panes in frames, ensuring a secure and watertight seal.

Assemble and Install Prefabricated Glass, Mirrors, or Glass Products

Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, following manufacturer instructions and safety protocols.

Repair Glass Doors and Other Glass Structures

Repair and replace damaged glass doors, windows, and other glass structures, ensuring a safe and secure environment.

Assemble, Erect, and Dismantle Scaffolding, Rigging, and Hoisting Equipment

Set up and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment, ensuring a safe working environment.

Read and Interpret Blueprints/Sketches/Specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to understand project requirements and ensure accurate installation.

Replace Damaged Windows and Repair Upholstery

Replace damaged windows and repair upholstery, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Ensure Safety Procedures are Followed

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in glass installation, fitting, or a related field.

Permanent Employment

Permanent employment with a reputable company, with a focus on glass installation and construction.

English Language Proficiency

Proficiency in the English language, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

32 Hours per Week

Availability to work 32 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to project requirements.
