Job Title: Glass Wall Installer

Decent Glass Inc. is seeking a skilled Glass Wall Installer to join our team. As a Glass Wall Installer, you will be responsible for installing glass walls and other glass structures in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure precise fits
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring stability and safety
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients, estimating costs and materials
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, following manufacturer instructions
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper functioning and safety
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on installation techniques
  • Prepare shop drawings and blueprints for clients, ensuring accuracy and clarity
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized tools and techniques
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency
  • Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Transport cases of glass, ensuring safe handling and storage
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in glass installation or a related field
  • Permanent employment, working 35 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
