RF Application Engineer Co-op: Wireless Integrated Circuit Component Development

Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented RF Application Engineer Co-op to join our Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa. As a Co-op, you will work closely with our application engineering group to develop wireless integrated circuit components and assist with customer support activities.
Responsibilities- Assist application engineering group members with customer support activities, including device evaluation and customer board tuning.
- Participate in new integrated circuit and module product test activities, including lab testing of RF circuits and presentation of test results.
- Complete small projects and task assignments of varying complexity, ranging from device characterization to test environment programming and documentation.
- Currently enrolled in a BS or MS Electrical Engineering (or related) degree program.
- Knowledge of basic electronic circuits and principles.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PPT, and Word) and able to quickly learn company-specific software.
- Knowledge of RF parameters (insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, NF, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with test equipment and tools such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources, and soldering tools is preferred.
- Good communication, organization, and documentation skills, with a willingness to work in a lab hands-on environment.
