About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at SHAHEEN FOOD CENTRE INC. as a key member of our kitchen operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase a variety of ethnic cuisines
    • Plan and prepare complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Kitchen Operations Management
    • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
    • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Staff Training and Development
    • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Client Focus and Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and customers
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and presented to high standards
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
