Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Cook to join our kitchen team. As an Ethnic Food Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas

As an Ethnic Food Cook, you will have the opportunity to specialize in South Indian cuisine and bring your expertise to our menu.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical demands such as standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
