About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Beaver Hill Liquor Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our sales goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that our shelves are fully stocked and that our products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise to customers, respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their shopping experience.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations to management to improve store performance.
  • Store Operations: Authorize returns of merchandise, resolve supply shortages, and ensure that our store is operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
