Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Alberta Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and establish work schedules to ensure efficient operation of the food service department.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong physical and mental stamina. The position involves standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
