Role SummaryAs an IT Compliance Audit Lead, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Finance, IT, and Compliance teams, to ensure the integrity of our technology components within the SOX Program.
Key Responsibilities- Co-manage technology-related aspects of the SOX Program, including planning, risk assessments, and testing.
- Engage with the business process Internal Audit team to understand IT dependencies in key processes.
- Drive initiatives to enhance audit processes, improve program coverage, and boost testing efficiency.
- Conduct audits and produce workpapers that adhere to PCAOB standards.
- Oversee a diverse team to ensure timely and high-quality audit results.
- Plan and execute SOX IT compliance testing, including leading walkthroughs and reviewing documentation.
- Provide technical guidance on IT controls, including ITGC, ITAC, and SSAE 18 compliance.
- Communicate project status, issues, and recommendations effectively.
- Assist in the preparation of the Internal Audit Annual Plan.
- Identify control deficiencies, assess root causes, and evaluate audit impacts.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and external auditors.
- Offer insights on industry best practices, audit standards, and regulatory obligations.
- Create and maintain documentation supporting current controls and procedures.
- Evaluate whether artifacts meet policy and control requirements.
- Travel up to 15% for national and international engagements.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A solid understanding of audit principles, including risk assessment and materiality.
- Experience in a Senior Associate or Manager role within a Big 4 or public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of IT SOX compliance and SSAE 18 standards.
- A passion for audit, information security, governance, risk, and compliance.
- Proven project management skills with experience in cross-functional team projects.
- Familiarity with Oracle General IT and automated controls.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CIA.
