Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SOX ITGC Compliance Manager to lead our SAP Security SOX compliance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating SOX audit activities with various I&T teams responsible for ITGCs. Your expertise in SOX and audit standards will be essential in leading SOX engagements and reviewing working papers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the SAP Security SOX compliance team
  • Coordinate SOX audit activities with I&T teams
  • Lead SOX engagements and review working papers
  • Plan and supervise testing for assessing IT General Controls
  • Support stakeholders across IT teams to ensure SOX program execution
  • Evaluate deficiencies, identify root causes, and develop recommendations
  • Review and ensure IT controls documentation are in place
  • Provide training and coaching for the internal SOX Compliance team
  • Assist with monitoring and supporting ITGC processes and procedures
  • Provide advice and recommendations to strengthen ITGCs
  • Support new projects through identifying gaps, implementing controls, and assessing controls
  • Collaborate with the SOX Financial team to manage SOX audits

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of SOX requirements and leading SOX programs or management testing engagements
  • Big 4 experience is an asset
  • Experience managing ITGC testing with a good understanding of SAP application controls
  • Experience working in an audit advisory role with publicly listed companies across different countries
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to present points of view effectively
  • Ability to identify risks and recommend cost-effective controls
  • Experience working with growing organizations with changing needs and multiple complex business transactions
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), Accounting and Auditing designations (CPA, CA, or equivalent), with at least 5-8 years of supervisory experience in accounting, integrated auditing, ITGCs and/or IT processes and reporting
  • Demonstrated and proven project management or coordination skills and experience leading and managing teams
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Demonstrated and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive interpersonal relationships
