Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 1967847 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and efficient stockroom operations.
  • Merchandise Management: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and ensure that all products are properly displayed and priced.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads. The ideal candidate will be able to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional bending and crouching.
