About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 1196131 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of the store, including supervising sales staff, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to increase sales and improve merchandising displays.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering merchandise, tracking stock levels, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and customer service metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking
  • Work Setting: Rural area, Retail business
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player
