Job Title: Advanced Practice Clinical Leader

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full-time, permanent Advanced Practice Clinical Leader in CYEAP.

About the Role

As a member of the Clinical Director Child CYEAP team, you will provide clinical supervision and advance clinical care for specialized populations, including child and youth addictions and early psychosis.

You will be responsible for implementing and evaluating best practices in the assessment, care planning, and discharge planning of children and youth with severe mental health challenges, substance use, and trauma histories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to inpatient/outpatient point-of-care teams
  • Advance clinical practice through the implementation and evaluation of best practices
  • Consult with interprofessional teams in other clinical programs as needed
  • Support family engagement initiatives, quality improvement initiatives, and patient and staff safety strategies
  • Precept graduate students and engage in evaluation and research
  • Participate in interprofessional academic opportunities and program planning and evaluation
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in a Health Sciences discipline and be a member in good standing with the respective regulatory College.

Nursing experience is preferred, and eligibility for cross-appointment with the University of Toronto is required.

Five years of clinical experience involving clients with mental health and addiction is preferred.
