Telecommunications Line Technician

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Line Technician to join our team at 10604593 Canada Inc. This role involves the installation and maintenance of both aerial and underground telephone systems, ensuring reliable communication services for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Test equipment to identify transmission faults and determine the nature, cause, and location of issues.
- Documentation: Complete and maintain detailed test and service reports.
- Physical Work: Climb and work at heights on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
- Cable Management: Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets as needed.
- Work Assignment: Determine work assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Splicing: Splice, join, and connect wires to ensure proper functionality.
- Proficient in working with coaxial lines, fibre optics, and single lines.
This position requires the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. The work can be physically demanding, involving repetitive tasks and the need for bending, crouching, and kneeling.

A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
