Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment.
- Conduct tests on equipment to identify transmission faults.
- Complete and maintain detailed test and service reports.
- Analyze and determine the nature, cause, and location of technical issues.
- Climb and work at heights on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
- Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets as necessary.
- Assign work tasks effectively.
- Splice, join, and connect various types of wires.
- Experience with coaxial lines.
- Familiarity with fibre optics.
- Knowledge of single line installations.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
- Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks.
- Capability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
- Demonstrated flexibility in work approach.
- Highly organized with a focus on reliability.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience is required.
