We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Line Technician to join our team at 10604593 Canada Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a secondary school graduation certificate and have between 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain both aerial and underground telecommunications systems.
- Conduct tests on equipment to identify transmission faults.
- Prepare and manage test and service documentation.
- Analyze and determine the nature, cause, and location of technical issues.
- Climb and work safely on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
- Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets as necessary.
- Assign work tasks effectively among team members.
- Splice, join, and connect various types of wires.
- Experience with coaxial lines.
- Familiarity with fibre optics.
- Knowledge of single line systems.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
- Physical stamina for demanding tasks.
- Capability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
- Demonstrated flexibility in work approach.
- Highly organized and reliable.
- Free parking is available.
- This is a permanent position.
- Work language is English.
- Standard work hours are 40 hours per week.
