Carpentry Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Apprentice to join our team at Bkz Reno's Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts and designs for building projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
- Assist in preparing tenders and quotations for clients.
- Contribute to the construction of foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems.
- Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Coordinate and schedule work on construction sites.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure accurate building levels.
- Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices and other team members.
- Supervise and assist other workers as needed.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects.
- Operate computer-aided design (CADD) software and other computer systems.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings.
This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team, handle heavy loads, and meet tight deadlines.
Requirements- 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment.
- Client-focused and results-driven.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with minimal supervision.
