Bkz Reno's Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpentry Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting experienced carpenters with various tasks, including preparing layouts, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling and joining wood and other materials.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in carpentry and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating work on sites, surveying building locations and levels, and instructing apprentices.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for estimating costs and materials, operating CADD and other computer software systems, and maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced carpenters with various tasks
  • Prepare layouts, measure and cut materials, and assemble and join wood and other materials

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong foundation in carpentry
