Job Title: Senior Front-End Developer

Pact is seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing exceptional ecommerce experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with clients to build new sites and features from the ground-up.
  2. Deliver high-quality features on-time, often with limited design or requirements.
  3. Prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
  4. Be detail-oriented and passionate about creating beautiful front-end experiences.
  5. Provide feedback on design completeness, feature feasibility, and implementation effort.
  6. Be proactive in helping team members with technical issues or challenges.
  7. Review code submissions to ensure they meet task or project requirements.
  8. Participate in client meetings and demos, showcasing project progress or gathering technical requirements.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience as a Front-end or full-stack developer.
  2. Startup experience is a plus.
  3. Experience with Git and a decent understanding of zsh or bash.
  4. General experience building, launching, and maintaining Shopify stores.
  5. Appreciation of design and ability to protect its thoughtfulness without compromising fidelity.
  6. Ability to present to and communicate with clients with clarity and confidence.
Nice-to-Haves:
  1. Experience with TypeScript, Netlify, Cloudflare Workers, or GraphQL.
  2. Experience with WCAG/ADA compliance.
  3. Experience with Figma or Sketch.
  4. A natural inclination to take the lead and help team members understand and appreciate the work.
  5. An unparalleled ability to think outside the box.
  6. An eagerness to try new frameworks or solutions when opportunities arise.
